Art and Illustration
Welcome.
I’ve painted and drawn all my life. My art moves between painting and illustration, often carrying a sense of story - sometimes ethereal or dreamlike, sometimes whimsical or quietly playful.
Much of my work is shaped by imagination, symbolism, and the unseen worlds that sit just beneath the surface. Over the past decade, my paintings have explored dreamlike, magical, and elemental themes, often inviting reflection or a sense of wonder. Some of these works are available as prints.
Earlier artworks - from my teenage years through to young adulthood and later life - are also gathered here, offering glimpses of how my creative voice has changed and grown over time.
For me, art and storytelling are deeply connected. Even portrait work carries a story within it. This space holds that ongoing conversation between image, imagination, and meaning.
I work primarily in watercolour, often highlighting and embellishing with gold and metallic paint. Some art prints are hand-embellished, making each one slightly different. I also work with line and pen, and at times create digital drawings using Illustrator or Procreate. Each medium offers a different way of listening and responding.
I’m currently working on a storybook, where art and story continue to meet in new ways.
Some of my art will be available as prints and more on this upcoming page.

'Evolving' is a recent Sunday afternoon watercolour painting where I went for a walk, picked up a leaf and painted my impressions afterwards.

All my illustrations tell a story.
This one is encouraging the viewer to look forward ... encourage someone to look forward. It depicts transitions, symbolised by a fresh green shoot emerging from a seed planted long ago. This shoot has now grown into a flourishing tree, brimming with love, healing, blessings, and endless possibilities.
This video is an example of my process of developing an illustration for a full design project I created some years ago. The lyrebird is a favourite illustration for me.
